‘Shah Satnam Ji Alaukik Dham’ Lakadiya, Teh. Bhuchau Distt. Bhujj, Gujarat

This Ashram is situated on National Highway [NH -15]. On the backside of this Ashram, there is a railway line connecting Gandhi Dham- Paalanpur- Gujarat.

Necessity of Ashram: - Onset of the deadly and destructive earthquake on 26^th January 2001 had shaken the hearts of whole globe. All hearts got melted with the pain and grief of the sufferers. On listening to this incident, Revered Guruji expressed immense sympathy for the victims of that calamity. On the same day, during the satsang [spiritual discourse], His Holiness prayed for the peace and emancipation of those souls and asked the entire spiritual community presented there to pay nara [holy slogan] to let that prayer to be acceded.

After that His Highness Guruji asked the managing committee members to arrange the relief materials for them and 5000 sewadars [volunteers] along with 200 trucks loaded with the ration, blankets, and tents were sent there. Most respected Guruji personally visited there too and adopted 42 villages for providing each and every required commodity to them. Guruji would visit every village daily to ask for their well beings. And every villager would pray HIM to bestow the holy blessings. They all implored to not to leave them alone. All of them were in very miserable and pathetic condition.

On getting the Divine glimpse, everyone would forget his grief. Guruji went to a home in which six family members were expired due to this catastrophic incident. HIS Excellency Guruji consoled them heartily. Guruji visited there twice and both the times imparted Gurumantra [method of meditation] to around one lakh seekers. On the first holy visit, all of them got the relief materials, and tents erected. Guruji provided the homes made up of wood to all unsheltered families belonging to Sai village. Guruji resettled the entire village and christened it as ‘Sai Kalyan Nagar’. Similarly, 102 wooden homes were conferred to the inhabitants of Pratapnagar village. Since, those two were the worst affected villages. All of the villagers requested to build an Ashram there. On acceding to their earnest desire, His Excellency Guruji asked the managing committee members to search the suitable land for Ashram there. Within a few days, they found the required space at 5-6 km from Samakhiali city.

Foundation of the Ashram: - On 1^st March 2001, at 11:55 AM, His Holiness laid the foundation of this Ashram by excavating the location with the spade. Fabulous shahanshahi Gufa [royal abode], a hall and a few rooms were constructed there. This Ashram was inaugurated on 12^th March 2001 and Prashad of biscuits was distributed. A garden, laded full of mangoes, sapota, coconut, mosambi and other trees is instituted there. A well for the water was also drilled there. Earlier that water was not suitable for drinking, and so it was required to cart from outside for six months. However, that water has been transmuted now, and is used for all purposes.

Holy sermons for the volunteers rendering selfless services in this Ashram: - “Whosoever will render the selfless services here, recitation for 24 hours on behalf of him shall be acceptable by the Almighty God. And those who would be doing seva for regular 15 days will be bestowed immensely with the heavenly blessings.”

His Holiness further added, “WE were aware of this catastrophic event before its onset and were worried too for this. However, WE can’t go against and change the Almighty’s will. WE have been incarnated for humanitarian services only”. Besides, His Highness addressed all of the volunteers worked there as valiant ones and sermonized, “You have saved the God’s children; Indeed, God would help you a lot and bestow the transcendental and eternal blessings upon you. The work which you have done here, no one else could do it. All of your committed minor mistakes have been excused!”

A devotee was reciting before the onset of earthquake. When he felt trembling of the home, he asked all of his relatives to come out from the home. As and when they came out, the home was destructed completely. And there was no harm to any of them. He told this incident to Guruji. And His Holiness Guruji replied, “Gurumantra has that much power that it can provide breaths to the deceased even.”
