Cleanliness Earth Campaign In Puri, Orissa On 5th May, 2012

Next massive cleanliness campaign in the series of ‘Cleanse the planet earth, to remove disease and curse’ (‘Ho prithvi saaf, mite rog abhishaap’) has been scheduled on May 5th, 2012 in Puri (Orissa). Revered Guruji ‘Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan’ will inaugurate and flag off the campaign. Scores of volunteers hailing from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, U.P., and Delhi armed with brooms and shovels would spruce up one of the fascinating littoral district of Orissa at the launch of cleanliness campaign. Whole area is divided into zones, sectors and further into wards to successfully implement the agenda.

This awareness campaign acts as a booster or a catalyst for those who have lost their civic sense. Dera Sacha Sauda has been carrying out social welfare activities all around and regularly holding blood donation camps, plantation and cleanliness drives. It not only improves the environment but also sends the awareness message across the public at large extent. The zeal among the volunteers throngs them at every place on a single exhortation of Guruji.

These campaigns are intended to clean the country so that citizens understand their duty in keeping the city clean and do not litter around. Guru Ji says regarding these drives, “Cleanliness is the essential condition for eradicating or keeping at bay diseases and ailments. Our aim is to create awareness about the need to have clean surroundings and also sensitize people about various diseases like dengue, malaria, etc, which spread due to poor sanitation.”
