30th Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye Camp: Another Gift to Humanity!

What better tribute to the Spiritual Master than serving His children and removing their sufferings? It’s usually said that all the creatures of Almighty are children of true Spiritual Master too and He never let anyone remain in pain. Nothing else can please Him than saving His children from worries!

With the same purpose, 30th ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Free Mega Eye Camp has been organized at Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa by Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation.

To pay heartfelt gratitude and homage to beloved Saint Revered Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj (Second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda) this camp is organized every year. Since the year 1992, these free camps have been held at Dera premises to benefit people, and lakhs of beneficiaries have benefited so far.

Around 2.2 billion people are visually impaired globally. Most of them have unnecessary blindness due to cataracts that can be treated as well. But most people don’t get the timely treatment that worsens their eye problems.

For them, ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Free Mega Eye Camp proves as a boon every year. Thousands of patients get free eye screening, medicines, check-ups, and even eye surgeries by super-specialist eye surgeons.

Free Eye Camp Coming Up with Feasible Eye-care Targets for 2021!

Eye issues are quite common and eye cataract is responsible for around 50% of global blindness. Trauma, infectious diseases, age-related macular degeneration, diabetes, and many other reasons can be held responsible for reduced eyesight or eye-related issues.

It can affect people of all age groups. If it doesn’t receive timely care then lasting & incurable ramifications can be seen. However, financial, place & time constraints make people unable to get timely treatment and thereby get unfavourable results.

This free eye camp will help them fend off these eye issues. With the target to cover the masses, super-specialist eye surgeons, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, and several other doctors will provide their remarkable services for free.

The Mega Free ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Eye Camp will span over four days from 12th December to 15th December. The timings will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The registration will get started on 10th December. From eye screening to treatment and medicines, everything will be provided free of cost.

All must follow COVID-19 Guidelines in the camp and the instructions are given below:

• You need to follow all the guidelines shared by the government in concern with Covid-19, subsuming, keeping the distance of 6 feet from others, wearing the mask, and keeping your hands clean with sanitiser or soap.
• Cover your mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing.
• Wear a Triple Layer Mask for proper protection.
• Elderly people above 65 years of age, pregnant women, children below 10 years of age, and patients having symptoms of corona such as cough, cold, sore throat, or fever do not come to the camp.
• Each patient is required to bring two ID proofs such as Adhaar Card, Ration Card or Voter Card, etc.
• Patients must bring a family member with them.
• All arrangements for patients and their family members’ accommodation, eating, and drinking will be done free of cost.
• Follow the instructions laid down by doctors carefully.

 Important Note: The registration will get started on 10th December in Shah Satnam Ji Dham Dispensary, and check-up will begin on 12th December.

 The eye screening will begin on 12th December. Free medicines will be provided to the patients. Moreover, the shortlisted patients for eye surgeries will be given the treatment free of cost. The surgeries will go beyond 15th December as well, until all the beneficiaries get the desired treatment.
