6th 'Yaad-e-Murshid' Free Polio & Disability Prevention Camp Commenced

To mark the holy remembrance of the Founding Father of Dera Sacha Sauda, Beparwah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the 6th Yaad-e-Murshid Free Polio & Disability Prevention Camp was commenced here on 18th April, 2014. The camp was inaugurated by the Senior Vice Chairperson of Dera Sacha Sauda, Ms. Shobha Insan by invocating the holy nara "Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra". Many prominent Orthopedic Doctors of India provided their services in this camp. Hundreds of patients from all across Indiawere examined and were provided with free artificial limbs caliper, crutches, walking stick and special shoes. This camp was organized under the aegis of Shah Satnam Ji Research & Development Foundation. Till reported, 244 polio patients were examined comprising of 15 males and 91 females, of which 37 have been shortlisted for surgery while 18 have been recommended for artificial limbs caliper. Camp Coordinator Dr. Punit Insan told during the day 1 of this camp, the incapables were examined and the selected patients would be operated on Saturday, free of charge. He added that measurements of artificial limbs caliper were also taken. He informed that since 2008, under the auspicious guidance of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, this Polio & Disability Prevention Camp is organized on 18thApril every year. He stated that the camp examines polio patients, conducts their surgeries and provides them free medicines, calipers, crutches, walking sticks, special shoes etc. He told that the patients selected would be operated from 19th to 21stApril.

In the 6th 'Yaad-e-Murshid Free Polio & Disability Prevention Camp', Dr. Raj Singh and his team from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Medical University, Rohtak participated along with Dr. Pankaj Sharma from Mansa; Dr. Sanjay Kumar from Hisar; Dr. Suresh Bhola from Kurukshetra; Dr. Aruna Kumar & Dr.Vedika Insan from Sirsa provided their services. For making calipers, the team from Panchkula under Shri Sadhu Ram contributed their services.
