91 Units of Blood Donated by Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers in England

Under the auspicious guidance of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are spreading the spirit of welfare works towards humanity all across the globe. Carrying forward this legacy, the volunteers and members of Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing residing in United Kingdom organized the 15th Blood Donation Camp at Southall Sports Center, England on Sunday, 9th February 2014. A total of 91 units of blood were collected within 6 hours. Amazingly, the whole set-up had just 6 beds, but in front of devotion of volunteers towards humanity, it couldn't hinder their zeal. Truly, it seemed like there is some supernatural power behind such enthusiasm and dedication. It was a matter of surprise to the doctors and the staff that during the time when the whole world is busy celebrating Valentine's Week looking for worldly love, these volunteers were donating their blood which may save the lives of unknown people. They truly professed their love for humanity as guided by their True Master, Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Such philanthropy which is almost nonexistent in the western world, was surely a guiding light towards True Love. The volunteers (Sangat) bought banana, bread, cheese, jam and crisp, which were provided to the donors. Information about Dera and it's activities were provided to foreign donors through the book "Warriors of Humanitarianism", a book written in dedication to the welfare works done by Dera Sacha Sauda. All those who were present and witnessed the event commended the volunteers and praised Revered Guru Ji for imbibing such spirit in them. Even the nurses applauded the event as it went on so smoothly with absolute discipline amongst the participants. After the blood donation camp, the volunteers organized Langar (community meal) and a Naam Charcha (a small gathering of devotees held in remembrance of God). It is worth mentioning that Dera Sacha Sauda, the socio-spiritual organization situated in Sirsa, Haryana, India has set several records in Guinness World Records and Limca Book of World Records in different welfare activities whereas achieved 3 Guinness World Records for highest Blood Donation. Till date, the organization has set the highest record of 43,732 units of blood donated in a single day. Generally, Dera Sacha Sauda is referred as 'True Blood Pump' on account of having thousands of volunteers always ready to donate blood no matter when & where it's required.
