A Cleanliness Campaign was organized in Ilford, London, UK on Sunday 28th September, 2014 which was a successful event with the holy blessings of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. 15 member and responsible team members Ankur Insan and Kuldeep Insan had an appointment with the Head of Waste Management of Redbridge Council MR. Russell Ward and his colleague Kate Border on Thursday 25th September, 2014. Both of these volunteers were attired in Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing's uniform. They were really amazed and excited to see the volunteers in that uniform. They liked that a lot and asked if they could also get one as it was eye catching and amazing. When they got acquainted with the procedure of getting it and the duties and responsibilities after getting it, they appreciated Revered Guru ji for conducting such successful drives for humanitarian purposes. They were delighted with the welfare activities that Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing Members - England have been doing in terms of Cleanliness Camps, Tree Plantation, Blood Donation, etc. They assured to allot a few parks for cleaning and tree plantation in the future. They also requested that if they could get support in the same way forever in future also. There were over 60 Shah Satnam Ji Green 'S' Welfare Force Wing members and Dera volunteers who took part in this Cleanliness Campaign. Volunteers from all over England viz. London, Birmingham, Surrey and Luton participated in this noble cause. A few ladies with small kids in prams and some expectant mothers also gave their helping hand to make this event a success. The drive started at 11.00 am and completed at 3.00 pm. The participants cleaned 25 long streets (almost double the streets covered last time). After cleaning, there were over 600 Garbage Bags (Approximately 2000 KG of waste collected) and everyone in the area was amazed and was curious to know who they are and what they are doing. 18 Local Residents of Ilford filled the Pledge Forms also stating they will maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.
