A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Successfully Held in Southhall, London

Abiding by the teachings of  Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda, UK conducted 17^th Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Southall Sports Centre, Southall, London, England on Sunday 12^th October 2014. The camp started at  10.00 am  and finished at  5.00 pm. A total of 120 blood units were donated by 146 blood donors registered in 7 hours.  (116 units were donated in Southall, London and 4 were donated in Birmingham). Previous highest number of blood collection record is 111 units. Sadh Sangat (Spiritual Community) had bought banana, bread, cheese and jam to serve donors after blood donation. Detailed information about Dera Sacha Sauda and the welfare activities being pursued by the Ashram were narrated to the donors, who were residents of London, via English transcript Humanitarian Warriors. 3 British Blood donors were very much inspired to see the Street Cleaning Camp run by the volunteers organized and promised to attend the next street cleaning camp on  Sunday 26^th October 2014. Everyone appreciated His Holiness Guru Ji for instilling such passion among the followers. After blood donation, sadh sangat had langar and chanted the holy hymns. Dera Sacha Sauda  is referred to as  'True Blood Pump'  on account of having thousands of volunteers always ready to donate blood whenever and wherever required across the globe.
