Blood Donation in the memory of  Bapu Maghar Singh Ji

Bapu Maghar Singh Ji

5th October is celebrated as Parmarthi Diwas every year, at Dera Sacha Sauda in the pious memory of Respected Bapu Maghar Singh Ji. As the name indicates, Parmarthi refers to working for others, serving the society through all kinds of welfare works that Dera Sacha Sauda undertakes under the pious direction of Rev. Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

Bapu Maghar Singh Ji, Father of Rev. Master Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan was the truest devotee and served selflessly all his life. At a tender age of 23, his only son, (Rev. Guruji) set on the path of spirituality, holding the reigns of Dera, and He happily sacrificed his only son, for the Service of Society.

This day is particularly dedicated and celebrated as a Mega BloodDonationn Day, this year. Scores of followers from different parts of the world will participate in this drive. Dera Sacha Sauda has been holding Mega Blood Donation Camps since more than 2 decades and has been awarded more than a dozen awards for Blood donation alone, maximum Blood donation, or most units of blood donated in maximum time etc.

True Blood Pump

When the purpose is to serve the Society at large, with the best means possible, records are bound to follow and when millions join the purpose, it becomes a mission and the mission when backed by true Master, it is unstoppable. And this explains the reason why Dera Sacha Sauda Followers are referred to as 'True Blood Pump' World over.

This pump never runs dry and is ready to harvest new Blood, every time a need arises. In fact, DSS Volunteers pledge to donate Blood every 3 months and religiously follow the same.

DSS Volunteers, are ready to donate blood even before their 3 months date is due if a need arises. And a sight which no-one ever fails to miss is how, scores of volunteers wait in queues for their chance to donate blood, even though Blood donation is organized in the sprawling area, running across many acres with hundreds of beds around. But when thousands and even millions turn to Donate Blood at the main Sirsa Ashram, this is bound to happen.

Blood donation is next to worship here in Dera Sacha Sauda, and everyone wants to offer their services, to God and get his blessings for himself and for the fellow countrymen for which donation is made. Indian Army is the biggest receiver of Blood Donated here at Dera Sacha Sauda. Every month thousands of units of Blood are provided to the Indian Army by the volunteers.

So in essence, these volunteers are nurturing the Soldiers of the Country through their Blood and shedding their blood our heroes too. May Rev. Guru Ji's blessings always be with the volunteers and they continue to serve the society with same passion and dedication.
