Celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the First Satsang

Today, we commemorate the 76th anniversary of this momentous event with the first "Satsang Bhandara" of May at Dera Sacha Sauda Shah Satnam Ji Dham Sirsa. Devotees from across the country have gathered with deep devotion and faith to honor this significant day in spiritual history. This manifests Dera Sacha Sauda's incredible journey and its profound impact on millions of disciples worldwide.

Lakhs of Devotees Partaken in the Satsang Bhandara

The Satsang Bhandara witnessed an overwhelming turnout. Devotees participated in the sacred event, demonstrating their enthusiasm and reverence. Despite extensive arrangements, the management found it challenging to accommodate the flood of devotees in the huge pandals. The roads leading to Shah Satnam Ji Dham were lined with vehicles for kilometers, showcasing the devotees' unwavering passion and devotion.

The event commenced with the holy slogan “Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Aasra” with gratitude to Reverend Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Following this, the vocalists praised the glory of the Satguru through devotional hymns. On this auspicious occasion, Reverend Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan’s holy and precious sermons were displayed on large LED screens.

The purpose of saints is to bring happiness to everyone. Revered Guru Ji sermonized that saints constantly pray before the Almighty for the peace and happiness of all beings. Guruji stated that genuine prayers and legitimate requests for the welfare of families, society, the nation, and the world are always granted, while illegitimate demands are neither fulfilled nor supported by saints.

Revered Guruji emphasized that consistent attendance at spiritual discourses helps individuals discern between rightful and wrongful desires. Legitimate desires benefit the body, soul, mind, family, and society, bringing peace and preventing distractions and greed. When prayers for such rightful desires are made, they are certainly granted by the Almighty.

Further Guruji stated that in Sufism, a true devotee seeks the Almighty. He seeks to be close to the Almighty, requesting only that which brings them nearer to God. He remarked that although people acquire wealth, it often distances them from the Divine. Therefore, while it is natural for individuals to engage in exchanges within society, these transactions should always be conducted with integrity, making one trustworthy and reliable.

The Satsang Bhandara saw enthusiastic participation from the sangat of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and other states who arrived dancing and singing in traditional costumes. The vibrant joyful dance performances from Haryana highlighted the cultural diversity and joy of the occasion. Whether young or old, men or women, everyone was immersed in eternal joy and devotion.

Documentary, Free Medical Camp, and Welfare Initiatives

During the event, a documentary showcasing the humanitarian deeds of the Dera Sacha Sauda, a confluence of all religions, was shown. It highlighted the humanitarian efforts of the Dera Sacha Sauda and promoted respect for all religions, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, and Christianity. The documentary inspired viewers to worship with true devotion and demonstrated how millions of people have improved their lives by embracing the principles of the Dera Sacha Sauda. It received a tremendous response from the audience, filling the hall with the sound of applause.

Subsequently, two songs sung by Revered Guru Ji against drug abuse, "Jaago Duniya De Loko" and "Aashirwad Maon Ka," were played. These songs have inspired countless young people to renounce drugs and vices. These songs have proven to be milestones in social reform, inspiring millions to abandon drugs and vices. The songs are immensely popular on social media, continuing to influence people positively.

On the auspicious occasion of the holy MSG Satsang Bhandara, a large free medical camp was held at Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital, where specialist doctors provided their services. Free medicines were distributed, and calipers were given to those who had been measured for them in a disability prevention camp. Additionally, a career counseling camp was set up in the satsang hall, where experts guided students regarding their educational and career paths, benefiting a large number of students and their parents.

No celebration at Dera Sacha Sauda is complete without humanitarian acts. The Satsang Bhandara was commemorated with welfare activities and brought immense joy to the needy. In this, clothes were distributed to 76 individuals under the Cloth Bank campaign.

After the holy Bhandara, the volunteers efficiently distributed prasad and langar (community meal) to the attendees within minutes.

Cold water booths set up at various locations

Considering the intense heat, Dera Sacha Sauda organized cold and sweet water booths along Shah Satnam Ji Marg and other routes leading to the Darbar to refresh the attendees. They ensured that the intense heat of summer did not affect anyone and that all could stay hydrated all the time. Numerous volunteers were also seen fanning the congregation manually to ensure their comfort.

Thousands of volunteers from various committees, including those responsible for water, traffic, langar, shade, and cleanliness, served diligently during the holy MSG Satsang Bhandara. Their exemplary service was widely praised, and the volunteers attributed their dedication and strength to the grace and blessings of Revered Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, who provided them with the courage and motivation to serve selflessly.
