Dera's good work being ignored
While mentioning the awards and accolades received by Dera devotees in foreign countries, His Holiness said the government of India/Haryana must also recognise socially significant work that the Dera has been doing.
"While the devotees never intend to have any awards or honors, it is strange that the organisation which pioneered Sanitation drives in 2011 attended by millions, across scores of cities, is not even mentioned ", he observed. His Holiness said that even in the disaster relief interventions, it was a tendency to overlook huge number of volunteers of Dera working at such sites, and ignore to even mention their name. His Holiness said that while God is the giver of endless benevolence to those who serve selflessly, there was need for people to be more generous and broadminded in recognizing such work.
