This Ashram has a significant place in the history of Dera Sacha Sauda. During 1953 Beparwah Mastana Ji had organized a big bhandara at Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa. At that time the Sadh Sangat of Mehmadpur Rohi requested for granting a Satsang in their village. Beparwah Ji asked, "What will you serve then ?" They replied ,"We will serve sweets of desi ghee ". At the same time a devotee of village Gadrana named Nahar Singh also requested for granting Sat sang. In reply to the enquiry about the things he will serve to Sadh Sangat he replied cordially, "Oh the true Pat Shah! I am a poor man and can serve the pulse of red gram with bread of millet only." Upon this Most respected Mastana Ji became very happy and granted Sat Sang to village Gadrana and stayed there for eight days.
A well with salty water had been turned sweet at Gadrana by the grace of Mastana Ji and still exists there. The permission to construct Ashram there was granted during December 1954 and the dera was completed within one month. Its name was allotted as 'Dera Sacha Sauda, Satnampur Dham'.
