Adhering to the holy teachings of Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, a Free Eye Camp was held at Govt. Hospital in Bangarpet (Kolar) (Karnataka). The camp was conducted with a vision "A willingness to ensure positive and quality eye care to the under privileged". A doctors' team from Sankara eye hospital, Whitefield road, Kundalahalli gate, Bangalore rendered their services free of cost in the camp. The camp started at 9:00am and concluded at 1:00pm. Various tests were conducted to detect vision deficiencies, cataract and so on. A total of 215 OPDs and 63 surgeries were done. 5 cosh (responsible persons) and 13 disciples of Dera Sacha Sauda from the local area and surrounding areas participated in the camp.    Post operative follow up checkups were also organized by the camp organizers to ensure continuity of care. Besides conducting the tests, medicines were given free of cost to the needy patients during the camp. The camp was meant for the poor people who had eye disorders but were not able to get the cure because of their poverty. This is pertinent to mention here that, in the pious and everlasting memory of Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji, Second Master of Dera Sacha Sauda, a Free Mega Eye Camp is organized on December 13, 14, 15 annually. A numerous number of people from several states like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP and Delhi get benefited from this camp every year.
