This sacred land has always been blessed by the arrival of saints. A true saint is a guiding light who brings spiritual awakening and uplifts humanity. The true saints, born in different eras, are here not to divide but to unite, transcending caste, creed, or religion. They see all beings as children of the Almighty, equally deserving of love, guidance, and salvation.
One such saint, Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, incarnated on the blessed land of Kotda, Balochistan (now in Pakistan), with a divine mission to heal a broken world and uplift humanity. On Kartik Purnima of 1891, born after 18 long years of prayer by Respected Father Pilla Mall Ji and Mother Tulsa Bai Ji, Sai Ji’s entry into the world was celebrated as a heavenly blessing.
The universe itself seemed to rejoice with the pious incarnation of the revered master, who had come to guide humanity on the righteous path. With the divine mission to bring spiritual awakening, erase the darkness, and set an example of selfless service, Revered Sai Ji placed the seed of spiritualism in every heart.
With profound humility and simplicity, Revered Sai Ji devoted every moment of his life to the selfless service of others. In 1948, he laid the foundation of Dera Sacha Sauda, an organization rooted in the principles of truth, compassion, and unity. Sai Ji worked to break down the barriers of division, teaching that the true path to enlightenment lies in love, kindness, and dedicated service to humanity, regardless of caste, creed, or religion.
Today, the Incarnation Day of Revered Sai Ji is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by devotees around the world. Sai Ji’s teachings continue to guide and inspire people, emphasizing that spiritual fulfillment is achieved not only through devotion but also through compassionate actions toward others.
Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj was the very definition of simplicity. His humble attire and modest living masked the towering spiritual power he carried within. Sai Ji’s Revered Guruji, Sawan Shah Ji Maharaj, had blessed him with the words, “Your voice will be the voice of God.” And true to this prophecy, Sai Ji’s words became the guiding force for all who heard them. His teachings were infused with divine wisdom, offering clarity and spiritual nourishment to countless souls.
Often, Sai Ji would express his joy and deep connection to the divine by dancing in ecstatic devotion before his Guru. This unbreakable bond was not just a personal expression but also a spiritual lesson for all. As per Revered Sawan Shah Ji’s sermons, countless others used to manifest their devotion by dancing with love and reverence in Sai Ji’s presence. His grace and blessings left them overwhelmed with gratitude.
Despite his greatness, Sai Ji’s humility was remarkable. He referred to himself as “the servant of the servants” and often called himself a watchman, keeping people aware of the consequences of their actions and guiding them toward virtue. Besides being a spiritual guide, he was a friend to humanity, showing that true spiritual leaders are not above their followers but walk with them, lifting their burdens and bestowing them a life of happiness.
Even today, this legacy of humility continues through Revered Saint Dr. MSG, who carries forward Sai Ji’s and Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji’s (second spiritual master of DeraSacha Sauda) teachings with the same love, compassion, and dedication. Through his life’s work, Sai Ji remains a guiding light in a world often shadowed by selfishness, showing the way to true spiritual fulfillment.
Sai Ji wasn’t just known for his sermons, he performed divine acts that left everyone in awe. He famously tied bundles of money around dogs' and goats' necks. People usually start running behind those animals to fetch money from them. At this, Revered Sai Ji used to say, "These are friends of money, but Mastana’s true friend is rare to find!" It was a playful yet profound statement on how materialism could distract one from true spiritual fulfillment.
His mystical miracles didn’t stop there. Sai Ji would build buildings and then tear them down, then rebuild them again. When he knocked down a structure, the number of bricks would miraculously double, allowing two buildings to be constructed from what had been one! Such wonders left people astonished, making them realize that there was a deeper reality beyond the physical world. In village after village, word spread of these divine acts, and people flocked to Sai Ji in search of truth and spiritual guidance.
At that time, society was plagued by superstition and misguided practices. Sai Ji’s arrival marked a turning point. Revered Sai Ji worked tirelessly to break these chains of ignorance, steering people away from hollow rituals and showing them the true path to God, one based on love, truth, and selfless service. His teachings uplifted not only individuals but entire communities, pulling them out of the darkness of superstition and into the light of spiritual truth.
The spiritual legacy of Dera Sacha Sauda has been passed down through successive leaders, beginning with its founder, Revered Sai Ji, continuing through the second spiritual master, Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, and now under the guidance of the present master, Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
Revered Sai Ji, the founder, conveyed a prophetic message before his physical departure, stating that he would reincarnate after seven years. In 1960, Sai Ji transitioned from his physical form, and in 1967, He reincarnated as Revered Saint Dr. MSG. This marked the beginning of what is seen as the third embodiment of the spiritual leadership at Dera SachaSauda, fulfilling the earlier sermon by Sai Ji.
Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, known for his simplicity and humility, often wore torn clothes but distributed wealth, gold, silver, and money to those in need. In his divine sermons, Sai Ji foretold that in the third embodiment, He will wear latest clothes and thereby suppress Kaal- negative power.
Sai Ji prophesied that Sacha Sauda's message would spread widely, gaining strength as negativity increased. He also said that the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda united in faith, would be so numerous that if a plate were thrown, it wouldn’t touch the ground, as the path would be filled with devotees.
This powerful prophecy came true. Today, under the guidance of Revered Saint Dr. MSG, millions of devotees have gathered in Sirsa, demonstrating their unwavering love and devotion. The name of the Almighty is now spread far and wide, as Sai Ji had foretold, with people from all walks of life joining in the mission of selfless service and spiritual awakening.
Revered Sai Ji had often spoken of this future manifestation, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the third embodiment, which is now represented by Saint Dr. MSG. Under his leadership, the Dera continues to grow, focusing on humanitarian efforts, spiritual teachings, and social welfare programs aimed at uplifting society.
His pious sermons proved that true spirituality transcends time and continues to guide humanity toward the light of truth.
