To meditate, sit in a relaxed position either in sukhasana or on the chair, calm yourself down, close your eyes and focus on point between your eyes and above your nose. Now repeat the Gurumantra continuously, if you haven't learnt the gurumantra, chant the slogan 'Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra' continuously. You can start from sitting for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening. Increase this time gradually and practice for 30 min to 1 hour in the morning and evening.

Pranayam with Meditation

  • Sit relaxed in sukhasana or on chair.
  • Inhale deeply using the diaphragm muscles, such that the lungs are completely filled with air. As you do so, repeat the meditation words within.
  • Hold the breath within for as long as you can and keep meditating.
  • Exhale the breath slowly at first and then push it out completely using the diaphragm muscles; meditate as you do so.
  • Once completely exhaled, hold there for as long as you can and keep meditating.
