Mega Tree Plantation Drive On 15, August 2011

On the pious birthday ceremony of the most respected Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan and the coincidental Independence Day, a mega tree plantation drive was taken up by the spiritual community hailed from Dera Sacha Sauda. This movement was inaugurated by His Holiness Guruji by planting a sapling with HIS holy hands. This programme was started at 8:30 am and ended one hour later with 20,77,302 saplings planted all over India except the capital where Sadh Sangat made another world record of 75000 trees in 40 minutes. More than 40 lac trees were planted all over the world in a single day. Herbal plants like neem, basil, pipal and jamun were bred under this plantation drive. Sadh Sangat was directed to plant the trees and take care of these as of their own issues. This is the unique offspring which would be beneficial for the coming generations too. While addressing the press conference, His Excellency Guru Ji exhorted, "Today, sadh sangat is intended to plant 15 lac trees within one hour merely. Besides, trees would be planted throughout the day." On this occasion, members of royal family, royal daughters, inhabitants of Aasra Ashram and all celibate volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda also participated.

A SINGLE DAY BEAT THE WORLD AWAY

The volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda have been beating the world by setting up the marvelous global milestones in humanity. Creating three world records in a single day is the next rung of this welfare staircase. Dera disciples planted more than 20 lac plants all over the India except National Capital in mere one hour. On the same day, 75,000 saplings were planted in the capital in just 40 minutes. Besides, most people (more than 12,000) tossing the coin simultaneously in Saint SMG Sports Stadium and pledged that everyone of them would keep one rupee daily for the welfare of indigent beings.
