Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan while addressing the devotees said that adopting God's Words (Method of Meditation) is very crucial in this Dark Age. A man must meditate on the remembrance of God for at least half an hour in the morning and evening daily. Meditation enables one to control the thoughts. A huge number of devotees from several states like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh etc. arrived at the venue to attend the congregation. Revered Guru Ji bestowed the God's True Words aka Method of Meditation (Gurumantra) to 9705 seekers and helped them in getting relieved from addictions and other vices. Revered Guru Ji handed over the keys of 'ready to move in house' constructed by Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers of Block Khanna, Ludhiana to a needy woman Satara Rani w/o Rafiq Mohammad resident of Roheno Kalan with His pious hands under the welfare campaign "Aashiyana". In addition to it, His Holiness granted a cheque of Rs. 50,000 from Shah Satnam Ji Green S Benevolent Fund to Kiranjeet Kaur resident of Bhindra from Block Sangrur for medical treatment of her husband. Enlightening the devotees with spirituality, Revered Guru Ji further said, "The tentacles of a man's worldly senses are reaching far high in this Dark Age (Kalyuga). A man looks and walks somewhere but his mind roams somewhere else. Whatever works in the mind is most dangerous because a man acts according to the thoughts in his mind. The kind of deeds (Karma) performed lead to happiness or pain in life." "A man must never leave meditation in happy times. Everyone remembers God in miseries however if one remembers God in happy times, he may never come across miseries. But the irony is that a man keeps on waiting for miseries to remember God. This is not advisable." Revered Guru Ji exhorted more on the topic by giving an example, "When children have their examinations, they actively meditate on God's words. Similarly, if someone is incurring losses in the business, he recites God's words with earnest. However, if they had recited God's Words always in happiness also, such problems never come across. The time spent in reciting God's Words is cent per cent fruitful." His Holiness sung the hymn "Kesariya O' re Mahraa Kesariya", on which all the devotees danced in delight.
