This blessed day radiates grace in countless forms to all who embrace it.

A Day Overflowing with Divine Blessings and Joy

It is a moment when time stands still, and the air is thick with divine energy. The joy of celebrating this sacred day with Him is indescribable, elevating the hearts of every disciple to new heights of devotion and gratitude.

The Ultimate Celebration of Reverence and Joy

As the disciples of Dera Sacha Sauda gathered to celebrate MSG Bhandara, they felt the profound presence of their beloved Guruji, the one who has been their guiding light through every storm. There is no greater festival, no more significant day, than the celebration of Revered Saint Dr. MSG’s sacred incarnation. It is a day that brings together the entire spiritual community in a collective expression of love, gratitude, and devotion.

This year’s celebration was a divine manifestation of the boundless love and reverence that the disciples hold for their Guru. The day was not just an occasion; it was a profound spiritual experience, a reminder of the divine connection that unites the disciples with their Revered Guruji.

“In the presence of such a spiritual giant, every moment becomes sacred, every breath a prayer, and every heartbeat a hymn of gratitude.”

The celebration of this holy day is a ritual. It is the embodiment of the disciples’ unwavering faith, a celebration of the divine grace bestowed upon them through the teachings and presence of Revered Saint Dr. MSG.

Reminiscence of Golden Moments with Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj

The Bhandara began with heartfelt chants of the holy slogan, ‘Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Aasra,’ and deep gratitude to Revered Saint Dr. MSG. This sacred gathering commemorated the golden moments of the holy Birthday and also brought forth a profound reminiscence of divine experiences shared with Revered Param Pitaji.

Revered Saint Dr. MSG recalled the cherished evening of September 22, 1990, a time etched in the spiritual history of Shah Mastana Ji Dham. It was the tranquil time of dusk, and the family was gathered in rooms situated near the modest Langar area, where Beprah Ji’s friend, Bir Singh Ji, resided. Revered Guruji reminisced about being in those sacred quarters when, after the evening congregation, Beparwah Ji called the entire family inside and asked, "Is everyone in the family happy?"

At that moment, the respected father, Bapu Ji, whose love for this divine body was boundless, expressed his deep affection and concern. Despite my dedication to 32 national and international games, Bapu Ji always cared for my well-being. He said to Beprwah Ji, "Please take all our land, but give us a small room in Dera so we can have your and their pious glimpses."

Moved by this request, Param Pitaji became emotional and replied, "We are taking the most precious treasure from you and will not take anything else. Instead, we are giving him the treasure of both worlds."

This profound moment was not ordinary. Although the official coronation took place on September 23rd, the treasure of both worlds was bestowed upon Revered Saint Dr. MSG on the 22nd, a blessing that has never been witnessed before and will never occur again.

On September 23rd, the garland symbolizing both worlds was placed around my neck by Satguru Ji, who then blessed me with Prasad, which I partook with deep reverence.

Revered Guruji shared how He and Param Pitaji discussed profound spiritual secrets, delving into matters of the present and future. Guruji fondly remembered celebrating January 25, 1991, with immense enthusiasm, marking each day of the month with devotion and bringing forth a grand cake for Param Pitaji to cut.

Then came the unforgettable day, August 15, 1991. Although His Holiness Saint Dr. MSG never celebrated His own birthday, Revered Param Pitaji made extraordinary preparations in secret, astonished Revered Saint Ji with such divine experience. Param Pitaji brought a large cake, and at Guruji’s request, He cut it, delivering a sermon that forever enshrined the practice of cake-cutting and celebrations on this day till eternity.

On this pious occasion, Revered Guruji shared many such divine moments, infusing the day with unparalleled sacredness and spiritual depth.

A Glimpse into the Sacred Life Journey!

Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the esteemed founder of Dera Sacha Sauda, imparted a profound prophecy before His departure to the divine abode in 1960. He assured His followers, "Do not worry at all. I will be reborn after seven years." True to His word, exactly seven years later, in 1967, Revered Saint Dr. MSG graced this mortal world with His incarnation.

This divine foresight was echoed by Saint Triveni Dass Ji, who foretold to the revered parents of Saint MSG (respected Bapu Maghar Singh Ji and Mata Naseeb Kaur Ji) that they would be blessed with a son destined for a higher spiritual purpose. He prophesied that their son would stay with them until the age of 23, after which He would fulfill His divine mission. After 18 long years of anticipation, the respected parents were blessed with a son who indeed remained with them until the age of 23. Thereafter, Revered Saint Dr. MSG was entrusted with the spiritual leadership of Dera Sacha Sauda, marking the beginning of a new era of spiritual enlightenment.

At the tender age of five or seven, His Holiness received the sacred Gurumantra from Revered Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj. Accompanied by His respected father, they both received this divine blessing. On their way back home, respected Bapu Ji forgot the Gurumantra, but the young Saint Ji, only five years old, reminded His father of the holy words, leaving him in awe of His spiritual depth even at such a young age.

Revered Guruji was driven by an unimaginable passion for selfless service. Whenever an opportunity for service arose, He would immerse Himself wholeheartedly. In 1981, Revered Param Pitaji advised Revered Saint Dr. MSG to consider expanding His family and getting married. Respectful of His biological father's wishes, Saint MSG agreed. In 1982, His biological father arranged His engagement, and in 1984, Saint MSG was married. In 1987, while Saint MSG was engaged in selfless service at Dera, Revered Param Pitaji encouraged Him to continue His service, emphasizing that there was no harm in serving even after starting a family. From that moment on, Revered Saint MSG devoted Himself even more to the noble cause of selfless service.

The momentous day arrived on 23rd September 1991 when the spiritual leadership of Dera Sacha Sauda was officially bestowed upon Revered Saint Dr. MSG. Under His guidance, the Dera and its spiritual mission have expanded exponentially, touching countless lives and spreading the light of spirituality far and wide.

Respect for All Religions: A Sacred Teaching by the Holy Trinity

At Dera Sacha Sauda, all followers are instilled with the profound value of respecting every religion from the heart. Regardless of one's religious background, adherence to the teachings of all religions is deeply emphasized. Revered Guruji has imbued each follower with the ethos of thoroughly following their religion's teachings while upholding respect for all others.

Revered Guruji has often stated that He has never disrespected any religion, even before assuming the spiritual leadership of Dera Sacha Sauda. It is, therefore, inconceivable that such respect could falter after He became the spiritual successor. Revered Guruji is a worshipper of all religions and imparts religious teachings to unify the world in a bond of brotherhood and love.

Since 1948, at Dera Sacha Sauda, there is no discrimination based on religion, caste, creed, or any other grounds. Every individual is respected and accepted equally, regardless of their religious affiliation. The volunteers render their services impartially, never questioning anyone's religious background or caste. They offer equal respect to all, embodying the spirit of universal love and harmony taught by Revered Guruji.

New Welfare Initiatives: Elevating the Divinity of the Day

No Bhandara celebration is complete without the introduction of new welfare initiatives, which are the true essence of these sacred days. These initiatives serve as beacons of hope, bringing light to the distressed and placing smiles of happiness on those who need it most.

In this Bhandara, Revered Saint Dr. MSG introduced a series of transformative initiatives designed to uplift the lives of abandoned senior citizens and empower needy students in their academic pursuits.

Welfare Work 164: Adopt and Support Abandoned Senior Citizens

This initiative calls for taking full responsibility for orphaned senior citizens whose children have either passed away or are unable to provide support. If necessary, a dedicated caretaker will be appointed to ensure their well-being. For those without a home, arrangements will be made for the construction of a new residence, providing them with a safe and loving environment.

Welfare Work 165: Bringing Joy to Senior Citizens in Old Age Homes

This initiative encourages families to take their children to visit old age homes, spending quality time with senior citizens who have been left without family. The presence and affection of the children will fill the void in the lives of these elders. Families are encouraged to dedicate at least one day a week to this act of kindness, allowing the love and care of their children to bring warmth and joy to those in need.

Welfare Work 166: Supporting the Education of Bright Needy Students

This initiative focuses on financially supporting bright students from needy families, enabling them to pursue competitive exams and cover their educational expenses. By providing these students with the resources they need, this initiative aims to open doors to a brighter future for them.

Pledges Taken: A Commitment to Spiritual Growth

Pledges are an inseparable part of Bhandara celebrations, extending throughout the entire month. Every day, the followers take a pledge to leave their vices and follow the virtuous path more dedicatedly. On this sacred Bhandara Day, the following pledges were taken:

  1. At the very least, we will not lie at the pious place of the True Master, nor in His sacred presence.
  2. We will avoid sitting with those who engage in gossip, criticism, and slander. If circumstances force us to sit with them, we will engage in a five-minute meditation.

These pledges are sure to inspire spiritual growth and reinforce the commitment to living a life of truth and compassion.

Kul Ka Crown and Bhagat Yodha/Devout Warriors Marriages: The Sacred Union of Values and Traditions

In a momentous event, the marriages of two Kul Ka Crowns and one Bhagat Yodha were solemnized with profound reverence and joy, symbolizing not just the union of hearts but also the celebration of deep-rooted values and timeless traditions. These marriages are a manifestation of the extraordinary initiatives led by Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, which have transformed countless lives.

The 'Crown of the Lineage' or 'Kul Ka Crown' initiative is one such pioneering effort. It addresses the deep concerns of parents with a single girl child, who often worry about their daughter's future and the loneliness they might endure after her marriage. Through this initiative, matrilineal inheritance is promoted, where the groom relocates to the bride's home, caring for her parents as his own. Their offspring inherit the matrilineal surname, ensuring that the family lineage continues with honor. The groom, coming from a family with one or more male siblings, ensures that his own family is equally cared for, creating a balanced and compassionate family structure.

Similarly, the marriages of Bhagat Yodhas, or Devout Warriors, who marry widows or divorcees and even embrace their children, exemplify unparalleled courage and devotion. These marriages, solemnized during this sacred Bhandara occasion, reflect the true essence of compassion, selflessness, and the noble values instilled by His Holiness.

New Homes for Needy Families

In an extraordinary act of compassion, 15 new homes were constructed for needy families, who were then presented with the keys in the pious presence of Revered Saint Dr. MSG. This gesture, blessed by His holy grace, provided these families with not just shelter but also hope and a new beginning.

Documentary on the Global Nature Campaign

A powerful documentary highlighting the global nature campaign was also screened. The film emphasized the profound impact of tree plantation as a gift to nature and Mother Earth. This ongoing initiative, championed by the disciples of Revered Saint Dr. MSG, has become a unique tradition. Each year, on the revered occasion of His Holiness's birthday, disciples plant trees as a timeless gift to their Master, ensuring a legacy of green that lives on forever.

This sacred ritual, which began in 2007, has led to the planting of 17 crore trees over the past 17 years. Remarkably, 78-82% of these trees have flourished, symbolizing a true boon for society and a lasting contribution to the preservation of our environment.

Carrying Forward the Light of Bhandara: A Journey of Love, Compassion, and Grace

On the Bhandara celebrations, the spiritual atmosphere resonates with the profound teachings and boundless grace of Revered Saint Dr. MSG. This sacred celebration has besides nourishing the souls of countless devotees, rekindled the eternal flame of love, compassion, and service within every heart.

With hearts full of gratitude and spirits rejuvenated, we carry forward the wisdom and blessings bestowed upon us, committing ourselves to live by the noble values shared by His Holiness. May the light of this Bhandara continue to shine brightly, illuminating lives and the world with the divine love and grace of our revered Master, Saint Dr. MSG.

Happy MSG Bhandara!
