Sai Mastana Ji, The Founder of Dera Sacha Sauda incarnated on this mortal planet on Kartik Poornima in 1891 in Balochistan to Mother Smt. Tulsa Bai Ji and Father Sh. Pillamal Ji.
Known as Shri Khemamal Ji, His Holiness Huzoor Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj honored him later with the name "Shah Mastana Ji". Right from childhood, he was drawn toward God and at the tender age of 14, Shah Mastana Ji left home in search of a true Master.
This search took him to several places and to well known spiritual individuals, known for their devotion to God. However, none could satisfy his curiosity and thirst for a complete Guru. He wanted to understand the complete truth about this universe. He met several Gurus expert in several aspects of life, but they could not possibly help him to see or realize God.
After a period of 9 years hence, he reached Beas in Punjab and It was only here that he was introduced to Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj & attended one of his Satsangs (spiritual congregation) and learned true Method of Meditation or Naam from his Guru.
As destined, his thirst for the true Lord was fulfilled here, to complete satisfaction his true faith in his Guru kept growing by leaps and bounds. In fact, such was honest devotion that his Satguru endowed him complete spiritual knowledge. He was entrusted with the duty of conducting Spiritual discourses (Satsang) and teaching method of meditation to people in the provinces of Balochistan, Punjab, and Sindh.
Later, His Holiness Baba Sawan Singh Ji also assigned Shah Mastana Ji the duty of taking forward this mission in the vicinity of Bagarh (northern Rajasthan and western Harayana). And thus His Holiness made Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj his spiritual successor and asked him to spread the Divine message and propagate the Naam-Shabad by laying down the foundation in Sirsa (Haryana).
His Holiness Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj laid the principle of earning through hard work and honest means only. He also prohibited donations or charity of any kind to the disciples.
The divine slogan "Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra" Which means Only God Almighty is worth praising. The Supreme Omnipresent Lord which are Synonymous with the words Ram, Om, Allah, Waheguru, God, etc.
'Tera Hi Asra' means We are dependent on Him (Almighty) only and only He can help us at all times.
His Holiness Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj served humanity nonstop during his lifetime, constructing 25 Ashrams in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan all with basic facilities for drinking water and langar (free community meals).
He taught the pious Naam or Method of Meditation to thousands, who abide by every holy principle laid by the true Master. Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj handed over the reigns of Dera Sacha Sauda to True Master, Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj on 28 February 1960. And He left for his eternal abode on April 18th, 1960. The seed planted by His Holiness is touching great heights under the ablest apostleship of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
Welfare is scaling newer paradigms and lessons of humanity are well followed and practiced further by millions across the globe. The seed planted by his holiness Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj has taken the shape of a massive tree with roots strengthening every sector of society and its branches are spread in every corner, spreading fruits of compassion and hard work. Many thanks to Rev. Masters for this unmatched abode, where humanity dwells and nurtures countless lives.
