13th ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ Free Deformity Correction Camp Special

Several overcame inferiority complex and resumed confidence by getting services in free Deformity Correction Camp by Dera Sacha Sauda.

The physically disabled people face innumerable challenges in life. The regular hike in suffering breaks their confidence socially and emotionally. The treatment, medicines, calipers, etc. are also not within reach of everyone. The place and financial constraints stop them from getting the required treatment on time.

For them, Deformity Correction Camp by Dera Sacha Sauda is a big boon. Since 2008, these camps have been consistently conducted in Dera’s Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital, Sirsa in the pious remembrance of Revered Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. 

This year 13th ‘Yaad-E-Murshid’ camp was initiated on the 18th of April and provided relief to many patients who were unable to get the finest treatment because of many constraints. Society is thankful to Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan for initiating this camp and giving chance to the needy ones to take benefit from it. With the purpose of eradicating deformities among patients and providing them with required assistive devices and treatment, this camp has served thousands of patients so far.

The prominent surgeons and Orthopedic doctors provided their valuable services for free. The process started with registration where the on-duty volunteers necessary recorded details about the patients required for the next step. Several patients registered in the camp and got examined. These patients were screened by the best doctors and provided medicines and consultation for better outcomes. Then the selected patients got calipers who were in dire need of it. Free calipers were provided to them. For those who required physiotherapy on an urgent basis, free physiotherapy sessions and further guidance were provided to them. Some patients were selected for the surgeries as well, and till the 21st the super-specialist doctors performed surgeries too.

A total of 72 registrations were done and all these patients were checked-up by the expert doctors. 7 patients got physiotherapy for long-term relief and got in-depth guidance for the same. 19 surgeries were performed on 10 patients who required it on an urgent basis to cure deformity. 41 calipers were provided to the patients along with consultation sessions so that they can use these devices properly and live an independent life forever. The doctors and volunteers provided priceless services and paid tribute to Sai Ji in the best manner.

It’s worth noting that the bones suffer deformation because of several reasons and if proper timely treatment is not provided then the situation can get worst for those patients. Disfigurement usually generates an inferiority complex in them. So these camps are surely proving as a big blessing to those who are in acute need of checkups and treatment but can’t afford it in any manner. Besides treatment, it boosts the confidence level of the patient and he/she starts feeling themselves being an inseparable part of the society. The satisfaction on the faces was clearly visible. We are obliged to Saint Dr. MSG for initiating these camps that are helping the physically disabled ones in restoring their health and confidence.
