14th Yaad-E-Murshid Free Polio and Disability Correction Camp has been organized in the pious remembrance of Revered Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj (Founder of Dera Sacha Sauda) on 18th April. The camp was inaugurated at Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital.

Polio is a viral disease that affects the nervous system and can cause lifelong disability. This camp aims to help people with polio and other disabilities to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Many people with disabilities face social stigma and discrimination, which can make it difficult for them to participate fully in society.

By providing medical care and support, this camp helps people with disabilities to overcome the challenges they face and to live more fulfilling lives. To pay heartfelt reverence to Sai Ji, this camp is organized every year to empower individuals with the gift of mobility.

Giving back the ability to walk and live life to the fullest- Free Polio and Disability Correction Camp

The beginning of this camp was marked by the recitation of holy Ardaas (prayer) and the divine slogan of "Dhan-Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Aasra" by Ruhaani Di Honeypreet Insan, members of the Dera Sacha Sauda management committee, doctors, and staff members of Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital.

The patients at this camp, organized by Shah Satnam Ji Research and Development Foundation Sirsa, will receive free operations, pre-operative examinations, X-rays, medicines, and calipers, among other services. The selected patients will undergo surgeries on April 19th and 20th in the state-of-the-art operation theater of Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital by bone specialists.

In the camp, doctors including bone disease specialist Dr. Vedika Insan, plastic surgeon Dr. Swapnil Garg Insan, Dr. Punit Insan, Dr. Pankaj Sharma from Mansa, Dr. Sanjay Arora from Hisar, Dr. Kulbhushan, Dr. Sushil Azad, Ayurvedic specialist Dr. Ajay Gopalani, Dr. Meena Gopalani, physiotherapist Jaswinder Insan and Nita are providing their services.

This camp is no less than a blessing for patients with bone-related diseases. In the camp, examination, medicine, and operation related to bone diseases are provided free of cost to all the patients. Patients from Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and other states come to avail the benefits of this camp.

Bone disease specialist Dr. Vedika Insan said that mostly the patients with CTIV and CP diseases take benefit from this camp. In CTIV disease, the foot of the child remains twisted from birth, their treatment is done here through surgery and physiotherapy methods. In CP, which is Cerebral Palsy, children's physical movement and ability to walk are affected. This is a kind of disability in which children have difficulty holding objects and walking.

As per Dr. Vedika Insan, the patients should stay in touch with doctors continuously until the child is 12 to 15 years old after the operation and continue to do the exercises prescribed. Only then one can get rid of this disease.
