Nationwide Celebrations: Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers Honor Guru Purnima with Welfare Acts

Traditionally and historically, a Guru plays a profound role, not just in the life of a disciple but also in the wellbeing and welfare of the entire society. The life of true spiritual master, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan illustrates his dedication to serving the entire creation of the Lord, and mankind, motivating his disciples to do the same.

Celebrating their incredible Guru, the Guru Purnima marked an important occasion for the Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers, who have experience significant changes and light in their lives upon following the sermons of Saint Dr. MSG.

On 21^st July 2024, Naamcharcha Satsang was organized at Dera Sacha Sauda, which began with the pious holy slogan, followed by melodious holy hymns sung by vocalists. The souls of volunteers drenched in the lovely bhajans praising their Guru, feeling the ultimate divine bliss. Thereafter recorded sermons of Saint Dr. MSG were played in which Guru ji elucidated upon the profound influence of a guru in the disciple’s life. He explained how only but true guru can guide a disciple towards the path of righteousness and virtuousness by illuminating the light of wisdom and eliminating darkness of ignorance. Touching every heart and soul, Guru ji’s sermons bestowed a divine rejuvenation upon disciples, who listened peacefully and soaked in the divine guidance.

This was followed by a documentary detailing the significance of Guru since historic times, and then 2 bhajans sung by Guru ji himself were played, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the devotees present there.

Welfare Works by Revered Guru ji Saint Dr. MSG on Guru Purnima

it is a well-known tradition of Dera Sacha Sauda that every significant occasion is celebrated with welfare, and on the pious occasion of Guru Purnima, revered Saint Dr. MSG himself sponsored the following welfare works:

• Clothes distribution to 115 destitute children
• Stationary distribution to 115 destitute children, which included books, notebooks and other items.
• School fees of 15 underprivileged children
• Sweet water stalls were also organized

It is worth mentioning that revered Guru Ji is committed to dedicating his entire earnings to human welfare, except for the amount needed for his personal living expense.

Welfare Works Pan India by Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers Bring Joy to Many Lives

Revered Guru ji always leads by examples, and millions of followers worldwide look up to him as their source of inspiration. Celebrating their Guru, Saint Dr. MSG, the devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda also carried out these tasks in large numbers in various villages, towns and cities of different states.

Clothes and Stationary Distribution to destitute children

Children are the blooming buds and revered Guru ji has a special place for the future generation of the nation in his heart. Guided by their Guru’s pious teachings, the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda distributed new clothes to a total 4345 destitute children and stationary items to 9361 destitute children.

The smile on the faces of blooming buds and satisfaction on the faces of the volunteers were akin to the radiant full moon of Guru Purnima, bright and beautiful. These tasks were done by thousands of volunteers across the states of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra etc.

Not just this, they sponsored the yearly education of 58 children across the nation.

Sweet Water Stalls: The Nectar of Humanity and Selfless Love

The volunteers also established sweet water stalls at various junctions and locations in many states. Starting their work with the holy Nara, they prepared the cold sweet water hygienically while meditating and praying for the well-being of every person. People of all age groups, from a young child to elderly, participated in organising these sweet water stalls with full enthusiasm.

Holding trays of cups in their hands, the volunteers went to every auto, every rickshaw, and every passerby, ensuring that no one went thirsty. The sweet water served with love optimised every person's experience, who not just quenched their thirst but also felt the divine bliss.

At some water stalls, food items were also served to the destitute.

It is worth mentioning here that no donation or charity is ever taken for any of these welfare works. The volunteers pool in their resources and perform these welfare tasks collectively at the block levels in their zones.

Having served thousands of passersby, these volunteers left the places cleaner than they found it, ensuring that there was no littering of any kind.

Happy Celebrations, Happy Hearts

This Guru Purnima was indeed celebrated by Dera Sacha Sauda volunteer by following and implementing the sermons of Guru ji, through acts of selfless love and providing the much-needed help to the destitute.
