Burned patients and acid-attacked victims can now pin their hopes on a skin bank being set up in Sirsa, the first of its own kind not only in Haryana, but in all the states of North India. Inaugurated by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, who have used his own earnings of 'MSG 2 The Messenger' for the establishment of MSG Global Skin Bank at Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital by joining ribbons. On this occasion, Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan also briefed that an individual can donate his/her skin within 6 hours posthumously, and the same skin can be preserved safely up to 5 years. MSG Global Skin Bank will surely prove a boon for acid-attacked victims, burned patients and even the ones who get their skin damaged in an accident. Machines that are being set up in MSG Global Skin Bank are all of latest techniques, which includes orbital incubator, bio safety cabinet, hot air oven, dermatron, screen graft masher and cold room. An ambulance has also been prepared especially for this skin bank only. Along with Shah Satnam Ji Speciality hospital, the burned victims can also be treated in other hospitals too, all across the country. Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan also notified about the ongoing work of stem cell treatment in Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital, along with tissue regeneration lab too, that is being established from the earnings of his third instalment, MSG The Warrior LionHeart. In future, Skin bank will be expanded and will be combined with a bone bank too, he added.
