Players from Shah Satnam Ji Institutes proved their competence in India's Victory

India wins 5th Asian Throw Ball Championship

One more feather has been added to the hat of Shah Satnam Ji Educational Institutions who have already achieved many accolades at international level in different sports. India has won Gold Medal in the 5th Asian Throw Ball Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Two throw ball players in the Indian team who are students of Shah Satnam Ji Institutes had major contribution in this victory. Principal of Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College Geeta Moga Insan, Principal of Shah Satnam Ji Girls' School Sheela Punia Insan , Vice Principal Mrs. Seema Chabra Insan, school staff and students of the institutes gave a grand welcome to the members of Asian Championship team - Gagandeep Insan and Pawanpreet Insan, when they reached Shah Satnam Ji Institute. The players, who made the whole nation, state and their institute proud, gave all the credit to Papa Coach Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

India defeated Sri Lanka in finals by 21-25.

The sports in-charge of Shah Satnam Ji Educational Institute, Meera Insan while detailing about the competition told that the 5th Asian Throw Ball Championship was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19th to 21st June. The players from 5 countries viz. India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka participated in this championship. Indian team defeated Sri Lanka with a difference of 21-25 in the finals and won the championship. She told that Indian team defeated Malaysia in the league match and Pakistan in the semi-finals. She told that every team had 12 players, out of which 7 play in the team and 5 as extra players. The Indian team consisted of 5 players from Haryana, out of which two were from Shah Satnam Ji Educational Institute. These two members of Indian team were Gagandeep Insan who is a student of B.Sc II year and Pawandeep Kaur Insan who is a student of class XI.

They told that His Holiness keeps on providing tips regarding different games by taking out time from His busy schedule. The players of the institutions have earned many achievements at International level in many other games also like Yoga, Judo, Roller Hockey Skating, and Throw Ball with the directions & blessings of Revered Guru Ji.
