The 4th and Final Day of the Mega Free Eye Camp: 13,000+ Lives Transformed

Offering time and effort for the needy is no small feat, especially for doctors whose demanding schedules often leave little room for anything else. Yet, the selfless dedication displayed during the mega free eye camp organized by Dera Sacha Sauda stands as a shining example of humanitarian service.

The ophthalmologists and surgeons delivered world-class services, offering consultations and performing surgeries without any monetary motive. The paramedical staff worked tirelessly day and night, their unwavering commitment reflecting an indomitable spirit of selflessness. Despite the conclusion of patient registrations, the surgeries performed at Shah Satnam Ji Specialty Hospital in Sirsa will continue until all shortlisted patients receive the required treatment.

Super-specialist doctors from various locations joined hands to provide exceptional eye care services to patients who traveled from far and wide. The hospital, equipped with cutting-edge technology, ensured that patients benefited from modern procedures, including cataract surgeries that have already brought relief to many.

A Memorable and Blessed Event: The 33rd Yaad-E-Murshid Free Eye Camp

The 33rd Yaad-E-Murshid free eye camp was a monumental success, with over 13,000 patients registered for eye care services. Each patient underwent a comprehensive vision test and eye screening conducted by expert doctors. Eligible patients were transported to Shah Satnam Ji Super Specialty Hospital, where they received advanced cataract surgeries and high-quality intraocular lenses.

225 surgeries have already been performed. The surgeries were carried out by a collaborative team of eye surgeons from renowned Indian medical institutions and the local hospital’s team, all of whom volunteered their time and expertise. Post-operative care, including follow-ups and treatments, was provided to ensure the best outcomes for the patients. Volunteers accompanied the patients throughout the process, offering unwavering support until they were safely discharged and returned home.
